People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness. Just because they’re not on your road doesn’t mean they’ve gotten lost.
I saw this quote shared and attributed to the Dalai Lama. When I looked it up in order to share it here on Beyond Meds I found that it’s likely wrongly attributed to the Dalai Lama… it’s actually more likely that H. Jackson Brown said it. If you google it H. Jackson Brown comes up a whole lot more. Dalai Lama is one of those people who gets all sorts of things attributed to him…like the Buddha too…tons of quotes that are wrongly attributed to Buddha on the internet.
I figured I’d still share the quote and make people aware, too, that quotes are often misattributed. In the instance of the Dalai Lama and Buddha, I think it happens a lot with anything that sounds somewhat “Dalai Lama-like or Buddha-like.”
Anyway…I liked the quote because it’s so true.
