I know nothing

Above all we have to go beyond words and images and concepts. No imaginative vision or conceptual framework is adequate to the great reality. — Bede Griffiths

flowerPrecisely why I borrow from numerous traditions (religious and spiritual) as well as the sciences to point towards that which is. I get inspiration from everywhere to point towards our psyches and the nature of reality. All we can ever do is point toward because reality cannot be pinned down even while we all want to be able to do that. This too is why I practice non-attachment to beliefs and ideas (as well as material things). This is also why wise folks like Socrates state that we cannot truly know anything.

I know one thing: that I know nothing. – Socrates

I can also take delight in a multitude of systems because I love to look for pointers everywhere. Human beings and all of nature are filled with pointers that we might find our niche in this wondrous and challenging thing called life.

This sort of ties into my favorite underlying meme on this blog too.  Everything matters

Happy Friday. Have a good weekend.
