the musings of a mad woman

I am a mad woman — it’s a phenomenal and lovely journey. Madness is the real sanity on a planet full of people who don’t remember who and what we are.

life, life-ing…good even when it sucks

peeling away layers of fear. that’s what healing is largely about. we are all conditioned to be terrified and distrustful … In the process of peeling away the layers of fear the conditioning that we acquire throughout life is deconstructed – feel freedom emerging.

my fear is slowly but surely dissolving. dissolving. disappearing. it’s pretty phenomenal. yes, we can be free of fear even in the midst of hell.

when we are free of fear we can respond to the hell and darkness in the world with love and thus be a source of alchemical transformation.

Do you embrace the suffering of humanity? Or do you just do your best to avoid it? Get in tune with your cosmic vagina…it is within all of us, male and female, it holds all the pain in the world and then transmutes it. Alchemy. The Divine Feminine awaits you.

The objectification of self. Everyone is a brand. The biggest and most complete and insidious perversion of capitalism.

check the stories you tell yourself about reality for fantasy. there is little we actually know and fantasy is seductive and rampant and everywhere in our culture.

I feel better than ever at 50 and have a sense of being both young and elder simultaneously…it’s pretty awesome. The west kills our spirit while we’re still young and unless we go about the work of deconditioning we don’t know what it is to be alive. I know what it is to be alive…it took almost 50 years.

Hooked on clarity…I just keep coming back. Clarity, I just can’t quit you babe.

humility can embrace all manner of unhumble behavior. it holds me when I need to wail and cry, act the fool or the idiot. humility loves.

Those opposed to judging, judging harshly those who judge.

More surrendering, less seeking.

Everyone’s a guru…so you need not take yourself too seriously….nor that person over there who calls themself guru…

Below thoughts in response to this article: Can Anti-Inflammatory Drugs Treat Depression?

these sorts of articles bum me out…they get a little piece right but then screw it all up.

using drugs to solve this issue is profoundly misguided…diet works much better without adding additional toxicities…eating well and learning other lifestyle habits also HEALS…while drugs simply mask deeper issues that CAUSE inflammation…and this doesn’t mean that psycho/social factors aren’t important as well. … ah pharma and western medicine…you’re always looking for ways to hook people without understanding the full significance of what you’re talking about.
