There is a time for everything: odds and ends as they emerge…

Remember: inflammation, when not gone awry, helps the body heal. Everything has it’s place and time.

Some people need to quit drinking coffee. Others need to start drinking it. Oh, hell, yeah. One person’s poison is another person’s medicine

After a decade of not drinking coffee (because I really had to quit!) it is once again medicine. So lovely. My life is filled with paradox.

It’s helping with neuro-inflammation in ways that are simply magical. And yes, there was a time when quitting was critically important too. I no longer fear over-use either. Healing addiction is also part of healing. Developing such discernment about when to use/not use substances has been critical on my healing path

my brain goes through cycles as I detox heavy metal and various infections out of my system…the brain feels most impacted…

intense and pretty much entirely unknown in western medicine…these are the cycles I’m going thru while targeting metals, bacteria, virus & fungi.

A letter to a friend and to the doctor he referred me to via email is below….(I don’t generally do doctors, but I got 23andMe results and wanted to talk to someone who knows something about genetics…it was just going to be a consult…I don’t do treatment by others and I know that genes are not determinative in any case. The raw data, however, is helpful to the intuitive process that is not attached to that which is widely believed about genetics or anything at all)

Dear friend and the doctor person I was referred to,

I called the office and tried to set up an appointment. Then I discovered that your fee is $395 for one hour.

I have worked for the last decade with folks who have injuries like mine. Because there is no one out there helping us, I’ve worked voluntarily with 1000s of people all over the world.

People are in desperate need of care…all over the world. So much suffering. I find your fee incredibly disturbing and sad. Really I find it sickening and it makes me angry too.

Friend, you know my situation. That I give to thousands and have no income. I had to say something.

take care. Both of you. I hope that we all find ways to love one another and help humanity and the planet heal.

with much love,
Monica Cassani

And lastly, The Birds singing Ecclesiastes.

There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven:
a time to be born and a time to die,
a time to plant and a time to uproot,
a time to kill and a time to heal,
a time to tear down and a time to build,
a time to weep and a time to laugh,
a time to mourn and and a time to dance,
a time to scatter stones and a time to gather them,
a time to embrace and a time to refrain,
a time to search and a time to give up,
a time to keep and a time to throw away,
a time to tear and a time to mend,
a time to be silent and a time to speak,
a time to love and a time to hate,
a time for war and a time for peace.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

  1. Spirulina and Chlorella leech heavy metals from the body. I’ve been poisoned by cobalt from 4 hip surgeries.

  2. Interesting to hear about the coffee. Same thing happened to me with unsweetened super dark chocolate, the bitter tasting 90% stuff. Recently I’ve discovered that two squares in the morning is helping my immune system in all kinds of ways. Any more is too much. I’m not complaining 🙂

I can’t tolerate caffeine, and dark chocolate used to make my heart pound and cause hyperactivity. I still can’t have caffeine, just a sip and I’m bouncing off the walls. But recently I can now tolerate the dark chocolate, which tells me (I think) that it’s the theobromine that’s benefitting me somehow. I’m on about the same quitting and healing timeline as you.

    1. Exact same here, dark chocolate used to make me hallucinate in a really weird way. Not right away when I ate it, but later, in the middle of the night I’d wake up not knowing who or where I was, thinking all kinds of weird things for some time until I came to. Over the last 2 years I’ve done 25 IV chelation treatments, bringing my insanely high heavy metal levels down to less than 20% of where I started. So I wonder if this is why I now tolerate it in such a beneficial way. I too have days where it’s beneficial and days when it’s not, and fortunately I can tell ahead of time. Learning to respect and listen to my body has put me so much more in touch with what works for me, as I know you know.

  3. Thank you for all of your posts. I have been having an issue…the pattern is literally ‘every other day’. I got this same thing about the same time last year (very 1st time); can’t think clearly, lately nausea, , tightness around the stomach after I eat (sometimes I wake up with it) feel all around terrible..spend much of the day on the couch, don’t feel like doing anything. Last year this lasted for 5 months, every other day pattern. It went away for 5 full months, then came back 7 weeks ago. Same exact pattern, every other day. NO ONE can figure out what it is, so can’t get treatment. I was diagnosed last year with low platelets, but never dangerously low. Blood specialist said I have an autoimmune problem but doesn’t know exactly what. Does anyone think that this pattern could be autoimmune or maybe something else. I know it is an extremely bizarre pattern.
