Psychiatry (fueled by western culture) systematically eliminates us so that we cannot contribute to humanity

The capitalistically oriented “healers” and “spiritual” teachers are the pharisees/charlatans of our time. The real shaman/medicine people are being systematically wiped out/disabled by psychiatry. We don’t have mentors because our kind have been wiped out for generations now. (think of witch hunts, for example, before psychiatry) There is no one left to recognize us as children so as to tutor us in the ways of nature…. Most of the “healers” available (commercially or otherwise, alternative or conventional) once we reach adulthood are happy to throw us in the loony bin along with psychiatry. Psychiatry with its capitalistic pharmaceutical industry complex behind it has brainwashed everyone quite effectively. It is dangerous for us to show our true natures to most of these people in professional positions. They don’t know how to help us and instead end up making us sicker and sicker.

No reason to blame specific individuals…we’re all in this ugly conditioned soup together. Action, however, is warranted.

*it is potentially dangerous to come off medications without careful planning. Please be sure to be well educated before undertaking any sort of discontinuation of medications. If your MD agrees to help you do so, do not assume they know how to do it well even if they claim to have experience. They are generally not trained in discontinuation and may not know how to recognize withdrawal issues. A lot of withdrawal issues are misdiagnosed to be psychiatric problems. This is why it’s good to educate oneself and find a doctor who is willing to learn with you as your partner in care.  Really all doctors should always be willing to do this as we are all individuals and need to be treated as such. See: Psychiatric drug withdrawal and protracted withdrawal syndrome round-up

It’s become clear to me that whenever it’s possible that it’s helpful for folks who’ve not begun withdrawal and have the time to consider a carefully thought out plan to attempt to bring greater well-being to your body before starting the withdrawal. That means learning how to profoundly nourish your body/mind and spirit prior to beginning a withdrawal. For suggestions on how to go about doing that check the drop-down menus on this blog for ideas. Anything that helps you learn how to live well can be part of your plan. That plan will look different for everyone as we learn to follow our hearts and find our own unique paths in the world. Things to begin considering are diet, exercise and movement, meditation/contemplation etc. Paying attention to all these things as you do them helps too. The body will start letting us know what it needs as we learn to pay attention.

  1. Hi Monica, it’s very nice to see that there are some warriors left out there in the world. I feel completely the way you do about psychiatric illnesses. Sorry if my English is not so good. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder since I was 19, now am 27 and I can tell you that I feel I have been robbed for the last 8 years of my life. I feel like am working at 30% of my capacity, and the drugs they give me just make me “fit” in his rotted society. Even with meds I can’t have constant achievements or constant moods. I feel I have a very important role to play in this world, and I don’t mean with success, money, fame or whatsoever. I just want to help people be more aware of the damage we are making to us and the planet and all living things. I know even they, if they would only knew, would regret sometime. Am thinking of leaving my meds someday, right now am starting to be more consistent with my meditations and be extremely cautions with my alimentation. In general I want to forge some good habits before I stop taking my meds. I know am a very intelligent person and good intentioned. You think it’s possible to make this switch in my life, so I can start living for the first time in years? Thanks for the work you have done!

    1. Yes, I think I understand what you’re saying. I have read some post by bloggers where they feel that they’ve been “attacked” for deciding to use medication. I don’t think anyone should be told not to take medication, or attacked for how they choose to pursue their health and recovery goals. And I know you are not the type to “verbally assault” people in that manner. But finding common ground, being supportive and compassionate, and keeping the lines of communication open is important.

      Nice to see you, too!

  2. well, the headline says it all. i see no difference betwn the military empire and the pharma empire and their orbits of influence overlap more and more.

  3. Monica, I’m very glad to see a comment section here because I wanted to tell you how important you have been in my recovery off pharmaceuticals. I just finished a 2 year taper from Klonopin a few months back & am slowly starting to feel like I will be ok.
Thank you for being the only beacon in my life these last few years. I would have been so lost without you.
    With love,
    Harriet

  4. I love everything that you posts and write. Mostly it pisses me off, however I use that anger as motivation rather than letting it fester. I am trained in a couple of really awesome energy medicine healing techniques, HOWEVER, I am NOT a healer… no one can heal you but yourself, and any good coach/healer/therapists will tell you that they can help you to move stuff out of the way so that YOU can find the wisdom and healing and answers within yourself. The idea that someone else can “heal” you is mind boggling to me. The fact that the entire mental health industry completely ignores the emotions and pain body is completely maddening.

    1. We’re all trying to make “meaning” of this, it’s an incredible feat to attempt, after losing most of your adult life… the worst form of abuse, deception for seeking mental health assistance for ourselves, the absolute wrong, committed in an unbelievable way, so much so that not even our own families believe our dilemmas, they chose to believe in the deception perpetrated by “doctors,” in and among us….
