Everything matters

EVERYTHING matters. The body you were born with. The body you have today. Your relationships with others and the planet, the food you eat, and the air you breath…. how often you move your body and the thoughts you nurture in your mind and soul.

That is what understanding ourselves as holistic beings entails. Understanding our relationship to EVERYTHING in our environment, what we’re born with and how it’s all connected. It’s not some sort of new age hogwash. It’s just plain and simple reality.

All things: deep healing for trauma, body/mind and soul

As I continue to heal the wounding that brought me to my knees at this time last year, this poem arose to meet the anniversary of my near death. It is all a journey to heal the trauma held within the body that heals the mind and soul too. We are one holistic being and everything matters:

Healing from trauma is an unlayering process

Healing from trauma as well as the waking up process, in general, is often experienced as an unlayering process. Lately I’ve been revisiting the oldest wounding again. It’s been a doozy. It’s got correlates in the body (and shows up as chronic illness via the psych drug damage–everything matters and everything is connected!) and so I’ve not been feeling well either. It’s bringing up all the stuff about the system and healers that played into my even earlier wounding.

Psychiatric labels don’t make sense anymore

We are kaleidoscopic beings — endlessly variant. Social, political, psychological, ecological, cultural, biological all having impact. When we don’t engage our kaleidoscopic reality in a very active way – thinking we understand anything at all is ridiculous. Everything Matters — it’s the meme I use as a title for my work because it encapsulates our essence..

Healing a brain injury can hurt very badly. Delusion and dissociation. Herbs, herbs, herbs.

Layers of delusion and dissociation have been directly correlated with bad bacteria and other issues with biofilm matrixes in the body. As I have cleansed (detoxed) I’ve healed long-standing autoimmune disease as well as brain injury imparted from psych drugs. “Mental health issues” associated with trauma also cleared up as the layers of dissociation disappeared with the biofilm matrixes. Word “disappeared” while true, belies the real work involved in letting go. This has both an emotional/spiritual process and a physical one. Both have been critically important processes in the healing process. We are truly one. There is no separation between the physical and the emotional. No separation between body and mind. And everything matters because everything is interconnected. …

We all have stories and context — diagnosis try to strip that away from us

Everything that happens in our lives (and all our encounters with psychiatry) are SITUATIONAL. Always. There is no such thing as a clinical depression without a “situation.” That is a ludicrous and destructive fantasy. The same is true for anyone with any diagnosis. Schizophrenia, bipolar, anxiety, OCD. We all have stories and context. Diagnosis try to strip that away from us. The fact is EVERY single person with a diagnosis has an individual, unique story and context. Everything matters. Diagnosis (as currently most frequently used) are reductionistic lies that try to remove us from the fabric of our lives. …

Fall equinox today. Celebrate the season.

The longer I am psych drug free the more amazing my connection to all things becomes apparent. Not just the seasons, but the cycles of the moon, the weather, sun flares and everything in my environment matters. Yes! Everything matters. We are deeply holistic critters and we are part of all of life and the universe. Everything is connected. I am aware of cycles within cycles influencing everything about me and my environment. … [click title to read more]
