*for me a good part of protracted withdrawal issues from psych drugs has been extreme exacerbation of auto-immune issues which seems to be very common among those of us impacted. Often the auto-immune issues go unrecognized as they do with the mainstream population as well.
Immune Response is Secondary to Trauma (can show up as autoimmune disease)
For the most part I remain on hiatus, but I wanted to share the below article because I’m learning about immune response right now and I think it’s important to share it. When I say I’m learning it I mean that my body is revealing the truth of it to me. Our bodies hold information to heal us. We all learn different things because we’re all aspects of the whole. I’m sharing what I am receiving through my healing experience. This information needs to get out there and every single one of us that understand (in whatever way it comes to us) can help it go society wide. I have personally found that my body goes into an immune response when it’s visited by a trauma trigger. The trauma remains foundational. The immune response is secondary to a trauma in the history of the person. It would be a mistake to consider the immunological aspects without also looking at trauma. This is why there is so much auto-immune illness in circles of folks who’ve been psychiatrized. … [click on title for the rest of the post]
The Autoimmune Summit: may help anyone with chronic illness, including protracted psychiatric drug withdrawal
A lot of people with protracted withdrawal issues are likely to have some sort of auto-immunity issue. It’s worth learning about auto-immune disease if you have chronic illness of any kind since mainstream doctors don’t even look for it quite often. This is a free online conference of sorts…it looks like a great way to get to know about this stuff if you don’t already. My healing protocols take into account auto-immune issues and much of what will be taught in this course informs my own healing process. IT’S FREE
There are some good doctors involved in this. Including one’s from whom I’ve learned a lot in my process. Beyond that I don’t really know more about this program than what I’m sharing. (just as a small disclaimer) I receive nothing for this post and share it only because I think it would be great for everyone to understand more about chronic illness and autoimmune disease. Both are far more common than most people realize and there are a lot of people who are sub-chronic in that with one more trigger they could get sick. We all need to tend to our health, always. … [click on title for the rest of the post]
Autoimmune issues manifest in many ways affecting both mind and body
Autoimmune issues manifest in many ways affecting both mind and body. Celiac disease and gluten intolerance are autoimmune issues…there are many others. My own experience with autoimmune disease suggests that psych drugs exacerbate these problems…(hence the phenomena of some of the very serious protracted psychiatric drug withdrawal issues which deeply affect the whole body and mind rendering many completely disabled) … [click on title for the rest of the post]

My body is my meditation practice
There is a freedom, vast and beautiful, when one comes to know how insignificant ones importance in the world is. This while also deeply appreciating the great value that we all hold as well. *** If your heart is not open to yourself then your heart is not open. *** When we are resonant with… Continue Reading →
Waking up, food intolerances and chronic illness
Waking up and healing the body of autoimmune, chronic illness etcetera – are destructive processes that then require rebuilding of both body & psyche. Healing, as an act of both destruction and creation, requires Kali energy. I was not consciously aware of this when she first entered my life. …
Paradox in healing and life
The coin of health has illness on the other side. The currency of joy has sorrow on the reverse. Turn the coin of serenity and there is the stamp of worry. You always have to take what is underneath and reckon with that too. Happiness rests on sorrow, life upon death, calm upon turmoil…. Continue Reading →

My birthday and my seven-year anniversary off of psych drugs was February 9th. Histamine, salicylates, oxalates sensitivities (food sensitivity in general, too): HEALING it all
Sensitivities to many different foods and substances, for me, have proven to be issues with poor methylation and therefore a non-existent capacity to detoxify naturally. I had 100s of radical hypersensitivities with foods that I no longer have at the height of the psychiatric drug withdrawal syndrome. …
