Chronic illness, lyme disease, microbiome issues

Chronic “Lyme” is always associated with co-infections. A lot of people have very serious systemic infections that go undiagnosed due to not testing positive for the “lyme” bacteria. Many go untreated because medicine doesn’t want to deal with the diseases it’s created.

These diseases are ultimately created by drug resistance brought about by over drugging with pharma that destroy the microbiome in numerous ways. Many people do not succumb to the same micro-organisms if their pharma histories are minimal….

Intro to Ayurveda (for chronic illness, psych drug withdrawal, TD)

I have gone to practitioners but, Ayurveda, at foundation, is about learning to listen to your body and know how to feed it, move it, rest it and take care of it as needed. That is always our job in the end.

I never found a practitioner who could deal with my extreme and multiple issues either. I couldn’t even leave my house for 5 years as I was bedridden. I started these practices on my own at home in my bed. I am no longer bedridden. I am no longer nonverbal.

I still have tardive dyskinesia and I still love Ayurveda with a profound gratefulness as it helped me be in touch with my body. This is good stuff for anyone in life at anytime. …

Chronic illness

My “chronically ill” body rewards my gentle persistent attentions with never-ending insights into the nature of being an embodied human. Healing is alchemy and it never ends. The sensitive body holds the entire world’s pain, trauma, joy and madness within it. And yes, the suggestion is that most of us are not embodied. The conditioned self is disembodied. Coming to embodiment can be very painful.

Waking up, food intolerances and chronic illness

Waking up and healing the body of autoimmune, chronic illness etcetera – are destructive processes that then require rebuilding of both body & psyche. Healing, as an act of both destruction and creation, requires Kali energy. I was not consciously aware of this when she first entered my life. …

Dissociation, psych drugs and chronic illness

In healing chronic illness with many acute, chronic pains I’ve seen that dissociation is not simply psychological but profoundly physiological…The process of getting chronically ill included layers of ever deepening dissociation from the body creating multiple broad spectrum illnesses…a dissociated body/mind cannot meaningfully take care of itself. Psych drugs allowed for these ever deepening layers of dissociation as they made the body sicker and sicker, the drugs largely numbed it all (though we’re often not aware of it because, generally, we still feel really shitty anyway!)…

Will these symptoms ever go away? (chronic illness and protracted psych drug withdrawal syndrome)

A question asked: (Withdrawing from psychiatric drugs) caused chronic fatigue, muscle pain, burning skin and brain fog. I NEVER had any of these symptoms prior to meds or during meds. I guess the thing I worry about is if your body can truly heal from these symptoms. Can they go away on their own? Can they go away with time?

my answer:

We need to learn to listen to and cooperate with our nervous systems…and heal…in the way that they dictate. This will be different for everyone and therein lies the challenge. …

The Autoimmune Summit: may help anyone with chronic illness, including protracted psychiatric drug withdrawal

A lot of people with protracted withdrawal issues are likely to have some sort of auto-immunity issue. It’s worth learning about auto-immune disease if you have chronic illness of any kind since mainstream doctors don’t even look for it quite often. This is a free online conference of sorts…it looks like a great way to get to know about this stuff if you don’t already. My healing protocols take into account auto-immune issues and much of what will be taught in this course informs my own healing process. IT’S FREE

There are some good doctors involved in this. Including one’s from whom I’ve learned a lot in my process. Beyond that I don’t really know more about this program than what I’m sharing. (just as a small disclaimer) I receive nothing for this post and share it only because I think it would be great for everyone to understand more about chronic illness and autoimmune disease. Both are far more common than most people realize and there are a lot of people who are sub-chronic in that with one more trigger they could get sick. We all need to tend to our health, always. … [click on title for the rest of the post]
