This isn’t a story in the usual sense. this is about what is happening in my body and how it affects everything else. It is what is happening. …
Part of what those of us injured by psychiatry are dealing with is the cellular knowledge that this history is in our very nervous systems via psychiatric institution, it’s proponents and the drugs used to suppress our beautiful sensitive human natures. We are not insane — we are however subject to the bullshit that has been perpetrated against us. Yes the body keeps score. If and when we allow the consciousness of these crimes against humanity to arise out of our bodies we can become a force to be reckoned with. May we all become conscious of what is happening all over the planet and within us. …

A status update: Our bodies, in perfect reflection of our psyches, hold our personal mythologies. In this way we are all unique. This is what western medicine does not get. It seems that for some that story is in keeping with their essence-then no violence occurs. Others aren’t conscious enough to recognize abuses being perpetrated against them. We are all conditioned with […]
By Charles Eisenstein first published on his site and offered freely via a creative commons copyright. Thank you, Charles. – Normal is coming unhinged. For the last eight years it has been possible for most people (at least in the relatively privileged classes) to believe that society is sound, that the system, though creaky, basically works, and that the progressive deterioration of everything from ecology to economy is a temporary deviation from the evolutionary imperative of progress.
I was a psychiatric success story. My mother used to go to NAMI meetings and was able to share the wonderful news about how successful my forced and violent psychiatric treatment had been. I was working a respectable job with respectable responsibilities. The other mothers hung on every word. My psychiatrist too, believed I was a success story. He had done his job well. …
Narrative and story are tools of interpretation. They do not and cannot represent absolute truth. Within the evolving persons life a narrative can change many times. Alternately one might apply a multitude of narratives to a single issue so that in effect one can see themselves simultaneously through many prisms and thus have a more holistic and profound understanding of their experience.
