As I continue to heal the wounding that brought me to my knees at this time last year, this poem arose to meet the anniversary of my near death. It is all a journey to heal the trauma held within the body that heals the mind and soul too. We are one holistic being and everything matters:
A dear friend and colleague passed away yesterday from breast cancer. It came as a shock. She was only 43 years old. Yasmina Ykelenstam and I were both running websites in the early days of blogging and we did a lot of bouncing ideas off one another back in the early days of that foment …
I used to post fun and/or beautiful videos quite often. I called them my MELLOW POSTS collected here. Haven’t done one in a long time and now it’s time again thanks to my friend Maria who shared this with me. Please enjoy:
The below are some of the things that helped me this time around and during a short period of time. Everything is always changing for me. Healing is a dynamic thing…it is by nature constant change. What I share is a tiny bit during a very tiny window of a much longer journey. Everyone is different. I share not so that what I’ve done might be copied but so that the energy of how I find what is appropriate for me might be gleaned. We are all different. Healing looks different for everyone.
There is a lot of talk about “light workers” in some spiritual circles these days. I’d like to ask: what about those of us who are doing SHADOW work? This alone will keep people from even attempting to do it or even realize or acknowledge it’s possible. It’s scary and the fear is justified and even rational given what we face. I am in a rare and privileged and lucky position and I still get frightened too. This is scary stuff. …
I’m doing heavy metal detox…intense. Rarely mention it because people don’t understand how insane it is. I can feel metal leaving my brain. Metal hangs out in biofilms with infectious agents…as this comes out so does decades & lifetimes–via ancestral lineage — of emotional crap. Virtually no support during this process, really…not that I’ve found… Continue Reading →
