Trauma causes splits in the psyche. Working with parts or subpersonalities is one of the ways of healing such splits. …
Remineralization…a good thing to do in preparation for drug withdrawal (as well as for general well-being)
Minerals are essential for all of our bodily functions. They are needed for bone and teeth health for our blood, skin, hair, nerve function, muscle and for all our metabolic processes. They are foundational to everything we are as physical beings. All minerals are generally in a state of depletion in modern western people because our soils suck and our food supply is so compromised in a multitude of ways.
Before withdrawing from psych meds it’s important to have some foundational well-being if at all possible so that one might mitigate severe withdrawal issues.
Detoxification (which is really about balancing the internal ecosystem): healthy living for body/mind/spirit
We are, in large part, and among many other things, an expression of the ecosystem of our bodies which include bacteria, virus, fungi and other parasites. Successful “detoxification” is really largely about bringing these microorganisms and the rest of our being into balance since most of them cannot be gotten rid of entirely in any case. In many instances we don’t want to get rid of them as in the right amount they serve a good function. We are all made up of these things in different ratios by design, really.
Murmurings
The learning curve involved is no easy thing…this process not a pretty thing either…coming to clarity is a destructive process (so says Adyashanti, here as well). The somatic imperative and meditation
Most of my deep meditations still happen while lying down. This remains necessary because the somatic experience remains far too intense to otherwise tolerate sitting. In order to profoundly allow and experience the healing process (by relaxing deeply into it) the body must be horizontal and completely and progressively more relaxed. This allows the nervous… Continue Reading →
Food for thought or contemplation
I’m mostly not blogging anymore, it’s true, but I do still jot down thoughts from time to time. I’m sharing a bunch of those thoughts from the last couple of months. I’ve included links in some of them where you might find more similar thoughts explored and collected here on the website. They are a loose sort of documentation of my process as it continues. Be well. Remember, healing is not a linear process! Love to you all.

Saturday mellow healing tones and music
The below Tibetan throat singing helped move some energy through the other day. Good stuff. Remember tones and chanting is a good way to stimulate and tone the vagus nerve too.
Have a good weekend. … [click on title to read and view more]
