Meditation is about seeing clearly the body that we have, the mind that we have, the domestic situation that we have, the job that we have, and the people who are in our lives.
I have found meditating to OM to be deeply powerful and healing. It can in fact nip migraines in the bud for me now. It also allows me to access parts of my psyche for trauma healing. It’s just one of the many practices I use for healing body/mind. This is the last audio file I’ve found that I’ve really liked. I find that different recording and tones carry subtly different energies so I do like to listen to different recordings from time to time. I’ve always found Bliss’ voice incredibly lovely to listen to. She is the perfect narrator for a guided meditation and she knows exactly what folks are going through in severe protracted psychiatric drug withdrawal syndromes because she’s been there and healed. The third principle in working with altered states can be called Awareness of the Dance. When such experiences arise, the practitioner’s primary responsibility is to open to the experience with a full awareness, observing and sensing it as part of the dance of our human life.
