This is what it’s like

I have an illness without a name. So people often cannot figure it out even if it's described rather explicitly.

Yoga for rehab (chronic illness etc)

I started yoga while still in bed. It rehabbed me from having been totally atrophied and hardly able to stand more than a couple of minutes. Yoga got me out of bed after being bedridden for many years. It took months of raising one arm and a time, one leg...turning the foot around, then the hand. Micro movements quite often in fact.   Mindful slow repeated movements in bed! Start experimenting and use YouTube. Make as many adjustments as you need and don't worry about form.

I don't often talk about the numerous, odd and often acute aches and pains we who've been harmed by drugs often experience as a result of the iatrogenic damage from taking and then withdrawing from psychiatric drugs. I've referred to them often but not too often do I get explicit....this post explores some of them.

Minding Your Mitochondria: heal chronic illness with diet

Minding Your Mitochondria: heal chronic illness with diet. ~~ Psychiatric drugs seem to harm our mitochondria, among all the other things they harm: Iatrogenic illness caused by mitochondrial damage—psychiatric drugs major culprit.
