Let the light of your sensitivity shine

Madness remains an important concept in the literature of those who been psychiatrized. People who study Jung have a very difficult time with the Red Book. They often react to the fact that Jung, within his own psyche, allowed and embraced what is often labeled psychotic in those less resourced.

How to use the site

This is how to use the site Many people still ask me for my “protocols.” The message I communicate for healing is that we are all different and our paths are also, therefore, going to be endlessly diverse. I share my experience, not so that it may be copied, but so that the reader can get a sense of process.

Tardive Dyskinesia

This page houses a collection of articles about tardive dyskinesia. The link can always be found in the menus at the top of the site. Most of the below articles are also about Lyme disease and multiple systemic chronic infections as well. I learned to understand TD in light of treating the Lyme disease and... Continue Reading →

Tardive dyskinesia is an infection

It turns out dyskinesia is a recognized symptom of Bartonella, a Lyme disease co-infection. I've been researching Tardive Dyskinesia which is intimately associated with how I experience the Lyme and Bartonella infections. It's generally considered a pharmaceutical brain injury (which I believe it also is and it's why I got the diagnosis, because of my pharmaceutical history) but it seems that the reason it's a pharma injury because it allows infection deep into the brain causing much more serious neuro-lyme. This is not accepted fact in the medical community but it's clear as my experience in my body. Tardive Dyskinesia is brain damage because the psychiatric pharmaceuticals make existing infections far worse.

Exploring Somatic Therapies: Eugene Gendlin ‘s Impact

Eugene Gendlin was a student of Carl Rogers and probably the single most important influence in the development of what we now call "somatic" or body-oriented therapies (Reich of course as well as others but I'm talking about the contemporary form body oriented therapies take). As the trauma discussion gets more and more medical and biologically reductionist, we would do well to rediscover Gendlin and the roots in his focusing technique, which is based in the state of consciousness where a dialogue with the "felt sense" is possible. Eugene Gendlin was also a compelling postmodern philosopher with, again, huge but usually unrecognized influence.

Poke (herbal medicine)

This year the poke in our yard is tall and productive. We've harvested enough berries to freeze for the year. I eat 5 to 15 of these on days when I need the lymph support. (comes and goes a lot with the systemic infections I'm clearing). Poke is a plant that many fear. The berries... Continue Reading →

Intro to Ayurveda (for chronic illness, psych drug withdrawal, TD)

I have gone to practitioners but, Ayurveda, at foundation, is about learning to listen to your body and know how to feed it, move it, rest it and take care of it as needed. That is always our job in the end. I never found a practitioner who could deal with my extreme and multiple issues either. I couldn't even leave my house for 5 years as I was bedridden. I started these practices on my own at home in my bed. I am no longer bedridden. I am no longer nonverbal. I still have tardive dyskinesia and I still love Ayurveda with a profound gratefulness as it helped me be in touch with my body. This is good stuff for anyone in life at anytime. ...

Tardive Dyskinesia is Brain Injury

Tardive Dyskinesia is brain injury and damage. It is a medically induced (iatrogenic) INJURY caused by 500 different drugs often used in psychiatry, gastroenterology and Parkinsons. People are rarely told of the risk. It's often referred to as a side effect of the drugs. This is offensive.

Thinking about anger

our relationship with anger is gravely and dangerously messed up. It's not really safe to share it anywhere these days in a world where positivity is in demand and all else is off the table as spiritually inept. This is of course generally not wise as the whole human spectrum of emotion must be respected. When people feel muzzled despair arises. Silencing is dangerous as it makes the anger arise in more toxic ways.
