Dissociation and psych drugs

Here's an important thing to understand about psychiatric drugs. Mental health conditions, just about all of them, are forms of dissociation from the body. Psychiatric drugs, across the board, dissociate one further from the body. Thus, they make the issues worse. When people actually do find relief on psych drugs, that's real and some people find in that kind of relief an opportunity to seek other ways of healing. Other people, however, never get off of the drugs and slowly their metabolic processes and capacity to detoxify diminish further. Thus, we get the statistic that people on psych meds die 25 years earlier on average.

Chronic illness, pharmaceutical injury

This is my experience after what, at this point, amounts to thousands of hours of mindful presence with the chaos in my body. ~~ Chronic illness, pharmaceutical injury ~~ One learns when one focuses attention. One learns a whole lot. That is meditation. Focused attention. So, my experience of chronic illness: Chronic illness is the body saying no to the toxic societal structures that we have internalized…healing from chronic illness is healing the whole human shebang. ~~ To be clear healing does not mean curing. There is no cure to this being human. ~~ ....

Trauma, detox (physical and mental) and other odds and ends

Trauma is not an aberration. It is normal. This needs to be appreciated. The human being uses trauma to evolve and grow and come into awareness. It's just part of the deal. We are a traumatizing species. ...

Heavy metals

Heavy metals are just one really heinous environmental toxin that gets into the nervous system and exponentially potentiates "negative" emotions (as well as being painful in ways that go far beyond what most people can conceive of and is associated with all manner of chronic illness and other infections all across the population...which is why the medical establishment shrinks away from the reality and calls people crazy, etc). It's messed up and only people who have experienced the detox in its extremes really know it--most people teaching detox are working in the dark. ...

Detox, withdrawal from psych meds and chronic systemic infections (chronic illness tends to be associated with them)

I've been working on detoxification and clearing and opening up my detox pathways for a decade. It's been slow and rough going for all the reasons y'all know about here. Still I have slowly come to tolerate a whole lot of detox herbs etc. I am now actually responding quite well to pretty hard-core Lyme disease protocols ...

Physical, mental, emotional – all ONE

There are many access points to the whole. Sometimes people concentrate more on different access points…like the psychological, or the physical (social, environmental and many other places are also valid). I’ve come to concentrate on the whole shebang because I had no choice. It was what was required to heal. Different folks have different paths and sometimes only one access point is enough to bring about healing that allows for basic growth and functioning. The only problem is when people imagine their access point is the only one that works and get dogmatic about it.

Detoxification (healing the internal ecosystem)

Update 2024: Detoxification (healing the internal ecosystem). The healthy body detoxes every single day. A body that has been exposed to large quantities of environmental toxins and years of pharmaceuticals may struggle to detox well at all. This is largely not understood in western medicine. It's a rather ludicrous oversite. It becomes easy to see that it is mindblowingly out of touch when you actually start understanding and feeling the process in your own body. ...

Walmart, detox, and finding the perfect healer

I am sharing some musings and responses to emails again. I collect bits and pieces I'm writing elsewhere and sharing here from time to time since people seem to enjoy that and have asked that I continue doing it. As before I've included links to old posts for more on similar topics below each little blurb. Here - from the last week:

Healing isn’t a choice

Healing is not always curing. People need to understand that. In the end these bodies die. So don’t misunderstand when I say they know how to heal everything. Healing is not the same as curing.  What is nice about profound healing, however, is that transformation of body/mind and spirit is possible in ways that most western modern human beings aren’t aware.

Neurotoxins and Biofilm: Health Crisis

Neurotoxins and Biofilm: Health Crisis ~~ update 2025: Since first publishing this post I have learned a lot more about how neurotoxins in our environment are used by biofilms in our bodies. They create armor against and from living pathogens. Micro-organisms, including our own probiotics use the toxins to create and move biofilm away from organs thus protecting us while also creating pockets of deep infection that is often hard to target and can defy laboratory detection. Our bodies are always working for us, and if they're overburdened the internal screams become confusing.
