Chronic Illness, Lyme, HIV the somatic connection

So here is an interesting tidbit. I have multiple systemic infections (I got a Lyme diagnosis…) … weird thing is that the person I get on with the best has HIV. He found my published work on Lyme and Tardyve dyskinesia and contacted me because it was so resonant for him. He is a 25 year old man . Multiple systemic infections are what is happening to a lot of people. Only some of us get diagnosed but they can be as diverse as “HIV” and “Lyme.”

Chronic Illness, Lyme, HIV — endless manifestations: diagnosis not so important

The real issue is that chronic illness, in general, is slowly killing millions but only some of us get diagnosed and treatment is pretty much shit when it’s complex and includes neuro issues.

The diagnosis are pretty meaningless, as all those impacted have unique manifestations. It seems clearer and clearer that we’re dealing with systemic infections pretty much across the board with chronic illnesses of all kinds.

My close friendship with someone with HIV supports this. Our somatic signatures are very similar and it’s like we can read one another’s minds. Uncanny, beautiful and disturbing, all.

Given I worked in HIV hospice when men his age were dying it’s all a very weird turn around.

In any case, once again, chronic illnesses all have lots of crossover and I have come to experience this as the microbiome connection.

More info:

this is also about Lyme biofilm. The dyskinesia is also part of Lyme…the TD diagnosis is simply what is given to people with a particular kind of biofilm by doctors who don’t know anything about biofilm and micro-organisms (that’s what it is for me, anyway)

  1. It does seem like a lot of chronic illnesses have the same symptoms. When long covid was discovered, it sounded almost like fibromyalgia, which can be triggered by illness. I was actually hopeful that they’d find a treatment that works for long covid that could work for fibromyalgia.

    1. Right. Covid is another variety of manifestation which also within itself has endless varieties. People are really resistant to not knowing what to do. They want a diagnosis and they want to know exactly what to do and they imagine a diagnosis will do that. The thing is it does not do that. Anyway, I hope someday we start seeing these patterns in ways that will help people broadly. I’m not the only one talking about this. Early on I was the only one I knew but now there’s lots of us saying stuff like this. The internet allows for a lot of cross-pollination. Of course I was never the only one saying it. I was just the only one in my sphere.
