New study shows antipsychotic drugs can suppress the immune system. ~~ This article came up as a memory on Facebook. I never posted the following thoughts on the topic and am doing so now for the sake of those who wish to do more research.
this is what I wrote (with some edits) and it remains true:
yes, “antipsychotics” (neuroleptic pharmaceuticals) suppress the immune system. That is exactly what they do, and frankly, how they “work”.
I have somatic intuitive knowledge at this point as I have mindfully attended to all aspects of the withdrawal and recovery that has taken decades.
(getting drugged as a teenager and then for a couple of decades more on a massive cocktail means the recovery is astonishingly slow. Tardive dyskinesia is believed to be permanent damage for a reason.) …
“Mania” (and/or “psychosis”) are immune responses to begin with…
…the body is trying to detox…trauma and whatever else the stressed out body picked up (and it will pick up infections when stressed…this is why and how real physical illness is associated with trauma).
When we stop the detox with psychopharmaceuticals we get sicker. This fact is well documented at this point for anyone who wants to see the truth. Psychiatric drugs can only ever, at best, be suppressive therapies.
It’s very simple. The biological aspects of what happens to our bodies in worst case scenarios is a devastating truth most people don’t want to understand.
Many people with histories like mine have been left to die or are permanently lost in a psychiatrically imposed drug haze.
I know a lot of dead people.
All of them have died prematurely and there is little to no understanding about what actually happens to the body when it’s injured by the psychopharmaceuticals to this extent.

Yes, I read Robert Whittaker’s book years ago and shared my story with him on Messenger. ‘Seems he hasn’t posted anything on FB for some time.
yes, Bob’s work is important because it establishes the harm the drugs do. It doesn’t, however, go into how that harm happens. I’m hoping someone in a better position than I will pick up the task of proving what I’ve come to know in my body.
