You can vote for me in my local blog awards

I have been nominated for a blog award at a yearly festival of blogs in my home region. You are apparently welcome to vote for me if you so choose.

Some of you are actually from here, so vote for all the categories of course and you certainly needn’t vote for me…

For those of you not from here, check out the nominees in the various categories. We’ve got some good bloggers here.

If you’re just looking for me on the ballot, I was nominated for “Most Inspirational.”

Do whatever you feel inclined to do. I’m somewhat conflicted about whether I really want to win as it will involve my “coming out” so to speak, as I do intend to attend the party and I’ve met none of the people involved before, though I do read a few of the blogs. A bit scary, I’d say! (ie: I intend to go if I can make it out of the house and as we know that is always a big if!)

Directions and voting here

If you’re here in town, come to the annual blog party:

Extravablogiversapaloozathon, September 27, starts at 6pm behind Top Floor Studio downtown.

  1. my avatar was taken just days ago…
I’m so tired and wasted, I don’t think I look better yet…though I have to say the avatar picture came out very well…I don’t think I look that good, or happy very often!

but hopefully once there has been more healing I will.

  2. Good luck with the blog awards. Now that you have lost weight, enjoy your day of shopping for that new outfit for the award ceremony. I recently had a session with a colour me beautiful consultant. I had a lovely session of being pampered. They show you a selection of colours that suit your complexion, and colouring etc.

Also Gianna, have you had your photo taken recently. In 2006, when I came off Lithium my facial features changed. My face totally became more relaxed, My eyes became clearer and a lot lighter. The rigidity of my face was no longer there. Have you compared an old photo to a recent one.

  3. wow! hi Heather,
great to hear from you. like I said on a thread on blogasheville I had no idea who nominated me…

look forward to meeting you on the 27th!!
    thanks for your support.

You certanily have my vote! I’d love to attend the event, can you give me a call the day before, and maybe pick me up along your way?
    Proud of you!

  6. Hi Gianna,

I just stopped by to say hello. You are missed.

I would be happy to vote for you as you ARE an inspiration to me and countless others. Your recovery process thus far has been nothing short of incredible. You are always kind, loving and generous with your time, experience and wisdom.

You are nothing short of a miracle.

I also wanted to stop by and thank you for your most recent recommendation of the Withdrawal and Recovery Yahoo Group. What a wealth of information! I am so grateful for having ‘met’ you. you have touched my life and enriched my knowledge.

    Love and gentle hugs,

    ~Vi

  7. I voted. I wish they had a place to write in bloggers though, would have nominated you for a few other awards.

I agree with Duane. Tell hubby to dust off the camera….
