As I continue dealing with the biofilm of multiple systemic infections, metals continue to be part of the picture. Nickel, is a heavy metal that remains largely neglected and can be incorporated into biofilm. Micro organisms will encase themselves in metals as a mode of protection. Nickel is carried in cigarette smoke for particularly noxious and dangerous toxicity. My father smoked with no respect for those around him from the time I was in the womb. ~~ Think long family drives in the car with closed windows. Yeah.
Gaseous nickel (nickel tetracarbonyl) will remain in the brain for decades.
Indeed, I’m still removing the nickel in my system. It’s painful in ways that defy description. It goes into the nervous system and brain.
the above comments were prompted by something I found in my records that I wrote six years ago. this stuff takes a long time when it’s complicated by pharmaceutical drug damage:
Heavy metals are just one really heinous environmental toxin that gets into the nervous system and exponentially potentiates “negative” emotions (as well as being painful in ways that go far beyond what most people can conceive of…which is why the medical establishment shrinks away from the reality and tells people they’re delusional). It’s messed up and only people who have experienced the detox really know it–most people teaching detox are working in the dark.
Heavy metal detox is dangerous
Some people are much more seriously impacted than others. Your average detox health/guru is probably safe enough for less complex situations but when we get into the highly complex there is literally no one giving decent info out there.
Top that off with the fact that mainstream modalities mock folks with these issues and don’t even acknowledge what is happening. There are many folks in living hells with absolutely no help at all…many of these people don’t even know what the issue is.
At the very least there is some research that supports the fact that this is really happening but even then it also remains true that no one knows how to effectively and safely approach worst case scenarios.
With multiple systemic infections that are often associated with Lyme Disease, both heavy metals and fungus/mold plays a large part in biofilm formation. Add nano particles and fillers from pharmaceuticals and we’ve got ourselves some ugly, long standing biofilms that are hard and sometimes impossible to eradicate. I have a lot of dead friends for a reason.
No one is researching this stuff.
To be clear, there is a general agreement that heavy metals are some sort of nebulous problem “out there” but when it comes to the individuals who are most impacted there’s little to no recognition in the MD’s office…mostly because, again, they have zero training on such things and they don’t know what to do.
The journey continues…

My mother smoked like that. Not a care in the world for herself or those around her. There were times I’d visit her and when I got home I’d have to change my clothes immediately and wash them. I’ve never thought of metal poisoning affecting me before, other than a tooth I had filled when I was a teen. Thanks!
Yeah it’s pretty crazy. I started cutting out things that added nickel to my body. I changed all my cooking ware and I had to stop wearing certain earrings and I stopped eating canned foods. All sorts of stuff in it helped identify the problem further. But it continues to be a problem. I also smoked for a period of time starting when I was 27 as a result of being on neuroleptics. Neuroleptics cause a lot of smoking. It’s it’s the only way you can function. It was the first thing I quit when I came off of everything. Actually anyway it further complicates people have been on drugs for many years. I didn’t get into all that in the post. I don’t feel like I have a framework to discuss everything I know. I wish I had a different place to discuss some of what I’m learning. I always appreciate your attentive reading
I smoked too, but it was usually only when I went out drinking with others. I quit over a decade ago by vaping nicotine, but I have never looked into if there was any metal poisoning from it. I should because the atomizer is metal. Thanks, again! Oh and I hate how you can’t edit comments on here. 😺💜🌻
