A quote—brought to you by “Writing for Your Life”

I just started reading the book Writing for Your Life: a guide and companion to the inner worlds, by Deena Metzger, recommended by Jazz.

The first chapter opens with a quote by Geston Bachelard:

“What is the source of our first suffering?
It lies in the fact that we hesitated to speak.
it was born in the moment
when we accumulated silent things within us.”

Looking forward to reading the book.

  1. Gianna,
I have that quote taped on the inside front cover of my journal!
I envy you, discovering the book for the first time. It’s a wonderful experience! Enjoy!
