In fact these are the same WOUNDED folks involved in different aspects of the same dynamic….
Collapsing the frames allows one to step back and have a larger perspective. It’s also okay when we need to use these frames for utilitarian purposes. It’s also good to remember they are simply frames. We all use frames in order to tether ourselves to a very confusing reality. Why are we here? What are we doing? Ultimately, for me, surrender was the only way because we will never know intellectually or academically but we can know in our cells in ways that we cannot articulate. The truth is both paradoxical and ineffable.
Home is where the marriage of opposites comes to rest.

This is very true. You can’t have an abuser if the abuser cannot find anyone to abuse.

also important to remember (for that broad perspective) that the “abuser” was always a victim who was also abused first.

Abuse in hospitals happens due to rampant institutional abuse. Patients get the worst, but that part is ignored by the media.
