A horrifying journey through the medical system

This is a story of iatrogenic injury caused by SSRIs and other psych meds presented at TEDMED. It’s important that these stories be told at these mainstream venues. Spread this one around your networks. There will be people who will recognize themselves and perhaps also find the courage to escape this sort of situation that happens to 1000s everyday all over the country and the world.

I get correspondence from people everyday with stories like this.

Elizabeth Kenny says at the end of the video after finally getting off the drugs the psychosis that came upon her while on the drugs left only 9 days later, never to return.

Actor and playwright Elizabeth Kenny performs an excerpt from her play dramatizing her horrifying journey through the American medical system.

Update: Elizabeth is having a live question and answer session on Facebook tomorrow. See here for info.

All my work is now motivated by the fact that I’ve worked with and corresponded with thousands of people who have been gravely harmed by psychiatry. The denial of the great potential for harm in psychiatry must end. The harming of so many innocent and vulnerable people must end.

For more information on iatrogenic illness in psychiatry on this blog see here: Iatrogenic Illness

*it is potentially dangerous to come off medications without careful planning. Please be sure to be well educated before undertaking any sort of discontinuation of medications. Do not assume your MD will know how to do it either. They are generally not trained in discontiuation. See: Psychiatric drug withdrawal and protracted withdrawal syndrome round-up

More on the harmful nature of psychiatry:

●  Psychiatry causes harm and it’s widely denied: psychiatrist shares her sadness about her profession

●  Coercion, and force, subtle or otherwise, is the rule in psychiatric care…

●  Chemical imbalance myth takes a big public fall (no, antidepressants do NOT correct an imbalance of serotonin, nor do other psychiatric drugs correct anything at all)

FINAL NOTE: if you’ve been harmed — IT CAN GET BETTER
