I don’t like the word recovery frankly…life is a terminal engagement…we grow and change and meet challenges…until we die

Alternative words/ideas: “becoming” – “transforming” – “unfolding” – “awakening”

“Recovery” instead assumes some sort of pristine state that never was…

I don’t want to go back to what I was before I got a psychiatric diagnosis. Do you?
