Nose dive

I’m having trouble speaking and conversing which is always a problem, but last night and tonight I am too weak to type too.

So hopefully I’ll bounce back soon. These spells tend to pass, but at the same time I am afraid, because overall I seem to be losing functioning on a continual downward spiral. Weakness and nausea and pain among other strange neurological stuff keep me from doing ordinary things most people take for granted.

I’ll be around, a bit, to read and approve messages.

I wish I could generalize and say when I might be functioning again. Last time this happened I think it lasted about 48 hours. Often I’m able to post information even when I feel awful, but sometimes I can’t even do that and it seems I’m entering that zone now.

My left hand is not even obeying typing commands. It’s freaky.

  1. Hang in there. I can relate. Sometimes my energy just goes somewhere else and I feel awful and tired. I try to experiment with different supplements foods and other things to see if I can reclaim feeling good and normal again. Hope you feel good again soon. hang in.

  2. I’m so, so sorry you’re going through this. I am hoping this will pass very soon, and that if it does last any length of time, it will still all be from withdrawal and that no lasting neuro problems are there. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: You ARE an overcomer. I know you probably don’t feel that way being flat on your back, but you have a strong, strong spirit and determination.

  3. honey…I’m not on the computer all day..I simply can’t even stand on my feet for more than 10 minutes…I don’t know if you know enough of my story…

I meditate and do other things that I can do lying down because all I can do is lie down…

I’m not trying to avoid the computer…I have no desire to avoid the computer…when I don’t feel like using it I put it aside…when I meditate I don’t have it with me…

but when your life is diminished to what you can do in bed believe me…you use the computer a lot.

  4. I get extremely bored when I need to rest from using the computer. I manage as best as I can by watching television, reading, maybe even cleaning, but I still get depressed or anxious when I’m avoiding the computer. It sure does sound like you need not just rest, but a break from your computer, if you’re in bed with a laptop! Sorry, I don’t mean to be pushy with the advice, so take it for what it’s worth. I probably don’t know you well enough to say one thing about it, but if you think it applies to you then it’s words well spent.

  5. I do nothing but lie down almost 24/7 now everyday all the time…with a lap top on my lap much of the time…

this is a bad day when I have to put the computer down….

still got a bum left hand and I feel like there is a hose connected to me draining me of energy somewhere…really it feels like that…but I’m also bored…

spent the last couple of hours in bed curled up, now I’m back on the couch….

my head is so fuzzy…I do things like go to bookmarks and click on bookmarks and can’t remember what I was looking for…non-stop…surfing the net and forgetting where I was going…it’s like I”m senile except I’m only 43…

  6. Can’t help being really worried about you. I know that doesn’t do you a lot of good. Hoping you get through this and find some relief in something — supplements, breathing, meditating, some other holistic practice, whatever it is. Take care.

  7. Rest as much as you can and don’t stress about anything. The weakness was one of my most debilitating symptoms, but I haven’t had it for about 3 months now! Hope tomorrow is a better day…

    Hugs,
