Well, just so you know, Kafka in general is hardly uplifting…he wrote about “troubled individuals in a nightmarishly impersonal and bureaucratic world.”
that quote is lifted from Wikipedia…
not to dissuade you from reading him…just to let you know he’s dark in general.
