Happy new year

Janus God of beginnings
Janus
God of beginnings

In ancient Roman religion and myth, Janus is the god of beginnings and transitions, hence also of gates, doors, passages, endings and time. He is usually depicted as having two faces, since he looks to the future and to the past. The Romans named the month of January in his honor.

I’ll repeat my greeting from the year in review here too since many didn’t see it.

Thanks to all my many readers all over the world for your ongoing support and for your commitment to becoming who you are meant to be in a world that makes it very difficult for us to do that. We all need each other to do that. That we might heal not just ourselves but our families, communities and our planet.

Happy New Year and much love to you all.

2014
