An interview conducted by Krista Tippit with Jon Kabat-Zinn from Being.
Scientist and author Jon Kabat-Zinn has changed medicine through his work on meditation and stress. We explore what he has learned, through science and experience, about mindfulness as a way of life; about slowing down time, as he says, and “opening to our lives.” This is wisdom with immediate relevance to the ordinary and extreme stresses of our time — from economic peril, to parenting, to life in a digital age. read more here

A great book by Jon Kabat-Zinn that introduces mindfulness in a wonderfully accessible way is: Wherever You Go, There You Are. I recommend this to people who are completely new to meditation, but it’s a great book for anyone really.
All his books are great. Here are a couple of others that are popular:
- Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of Your Body and Mind to Face Stress, Pain, and Illness
- Coming to Our Senses: Healing Ourselves and the World Through Mindfulness
