Today I tweeted:
Delusion is the norm. What flavor is your delusion?

I didn’t realize that it would end up being a bit of a theme for the day. I think another way of considering this is that when we experience clarity and not just delusion that there are as many windows to reality as there are human beings. Clarity in one human being will be from a different perspective than clarity in another human being. Clarity is our gift to the world. We are all different so that we might find that clear view and be who we are. In clarity we cease to fight over our differences and begin to embrace and deeply appreciate them.
In any case it’s clear that we all have different reality tunnels…and they tell us different things if we’re willing to listen. I transcribed a bit just now:
We’re all coming from the point of view of our own reality tunnels. And when we begin to realize that we’re all looking from our own particular reality tunnel, we find that it’s much easier to understand where other people are coming from or the ones that don’t have the same reality tunnel as us do not seem ignorant or deliberately perverse, or lying or hypnotized by some mad ideology they just have a different reality tunnel and every reality tunnel might tell us something interesting about our world if we’re willing to listen.
I figured out a long time ago that everybody knows something. I mean really KNOWS something. We just have to find the language to communicate with people who come from very different reality tunnels. I actually think that the language is perhaps energetic rather than verbal. If one listens energetically one can hear through the words into the truth of that person. Listening is in part about letting go of what we think we know.
Intelligence is the capacity to receive, decode and transmit information efficiently. Stupidity is blockage of this process at any point. Bigotry, ideologies etc. block the ability to receive; robotic reality-tunnels block the ability to decode or integrate new signals; censorship blocks transmission. — Robert Anton Wilson
Whenever people are certain they understand our peculiar situation here on this planet, it is because they have accepted a religious Faith or a secular Ideology (Ideologies are the modern form of Faiths) and just stopped thinking. — Robert Anton Wilson
We can all see how other people’s BS (belief system or bullshit :p) makes them blind and “stupid” at times, but we find it very hard to notice how our own BS is doing the same to us. This is what anthropologists call ‘acculturalization.’ Following Gurdjieff, I prefer to call it hypnosis… Every politician knows how to induce hypnosis, and very damned few peple on the whole planet know how to de-hypnotize themselves. The world is not governed by facts or logic. It is governed by BS (belief systems). — Robert Anton Wilson
1. Never believe totally in anybody else’s BS.
2. Never believe totally in your own BS.

A sense of humor results from perspective. The wider the perspective, the more humor you will perceive. — Robert Anton Wilson
