raw smoothie time

mmm… raw smoothie time …I just made an incredible smoothie/cold soup sorta drink.

It’s odd, but when it gets cold at this time of year, I need these sorts of raw fruit and veg smoothies.

In general cooked food is better for me, across the board…but there are periods of time in which I do a lot or all raw for brief periods.

Right now this is just my lunch today. I had a pure carnivore breakfast. The infections have ruined my gut and it’s often easier and better for my gut to do mono meals.

I am, however, at this point, an omnivore it seems…though currently I’m eating few to no grains and hovering near or in ketosis,

that also varies.

I listen to my body. The damage it has sustained makes its needs unpredictable.

I listen and feed it with love.

Like a momma standing over her infant. It was done all wrong for me the first time around. The humans that were supposed to nourish me made sure my body did not work. First, it was my family. Then, the pharmaceutically controlled medical and so-called mental health systems did the lionshare.

As I learn to eat again sometimes fun and strange recipes arise.

I mostly do not share them. I”m in the thick of it letting my kitchen witch take care of me in what is often crisis conditions. I don’t have time to share. Today I do and I’m always grateful for the times I can spend with the humans…here or in the meat world. Isolation sucks….

anyway…that was a long preamble…the very simple recipe:

(all raw) tomatoes, blueberries, garlic, pinch of salt and olive oil

in the blender…more like a cold soup than the fruit smoothie that is also is…and seriously yum even if it doesn’t sound like it. I wasn’t convinced until I took my first sip!

For lots of my creations, remember I have a food site too. I’ve been updating it for a while and it’s not all done…still if you like food it might be worth a visit.
