This is a guided meditation with Tara Brach via BeliefNet. This is excellent as a beginners experience and it’s also very nice for any of us who regularly meditate. Just a note for someone who has never done this sort of meditation before. She will ring a bell at the end of the meditation. There are some long silences during the meditation.
She is a really cool woman whom I’ve had the pleasure of eating dinner with at a friend’s house. I washed the dishes with her afterward, in mindfulness.
She wrote a really good book that I’ve quoted from before. It’s well worth reading and I highly recommend it.
This is one of my favorite books by a Western Buddhist teacher.
