ISPS–The International Society for the Psychological Treatments of Schizophrenia and Other Psychoses

I am a member of ISPS. It’s a very nice organization, but it by no means has a consensus on the use of medication. There are many, many wonderful members, however, who are bravely treating our nations most vulnerable people with great respect and honor.

Marian at Different Thoughts was disappointed recently when she sought out her local chapter of ISPS in Denmark.

But here in this country it’s the source of a great debate and it’s wonderful that people are there to have the debate. I’m pleased to see people williing to engage in the debate rather than stay on their respective sides of the fence.

A link to ISPS is always in my side-bar under organizations.

  1. Sounds fair to me! I also read Marian’s posting on ISPS-Denmark (and I’m going to that conference in Copenhagen in June of this year–2009) so I’m glad for the head’s up.

    Thanks for posting this, Gianna-
