I wrote a post about some of my adventures here: Weight loss and diet after withdrawing from psychiatric medications
Weight loss never was the goal, but psych meds do pack on pounds and harm our bodies in multiple ways…as far too many of us learn. Getting healthy has to take into consideration all aspects of health. For me weight was the very least important issue. I think that it’s actually a good way to approach weight loss almost always. Thinking in terms of getting healthy, rather than getting skinny.
